Apple Maps Needs Some SEO Help…Better Hope It Doesn’t Get Any
Kind of big news in Apple Maps land. 9to5Mac reports that Apple Maps now has public web pages for some Points of Interest and Landmarks. And if these URLs are public, that means they’re indexed in Google, or at least some of them are:
So far there could be over 200K URLs that are being filtered – mostly because they are blocked via robots.txt:
If Apple Maps gets its SEO act together, I know a lot of local search directories that are going to be thinking different about their future prospects…
